3.PRINCIPLE
The principle of pedal power hacksaw, is to change circulatory motion or cycling motion into translatory motion with the help of metal connecting rod .
If we use dynamo then we can produce electricity which will be help to lighting the workpiece area when electricity is not available in mechanical workshop.

4.What is Hacksaw?
A hacksaw is a fine-tooth saw with a blade under tension in a frame, used for cutting materials such as metal or plastics.
Hand-held hacksaws consist of a metal arch with a handle, usually a pistol grip, with pins for attaching a narrow disposable blade.
A screw or other mechanism is used to put the thin blade under tension.

5.SAFE OPERATING PROCEDURE
6.ADVANTAGES
Time saving as compared to simple hacksaw
Power saving as it is manully operated
Easy machinary used
As it is pedal operated so good for health
Comfortable then ordinary hacksaw

7.DISADVANTAGES
Its totally manually operated .
Time consuming as compared to electrical power hacksaw
Without human effort its not operated.
Not fit for heavy production.

8.TYPES OF SAW
Coping Saw :
Coping saws are used to remove complicated shapes and cut curves in wood and plastic.

9.Tenon Saw :
Tenon saws are used to make straight cuts in wood and occasionally some plastics.

10.Rip-Saw :
Large panels or sheets of materials, for example plywood or MDF, require larger ripsaws in order to cut them by hand.
Ripsaws are used to cut along the grain of large panels of real timber.

13.SKETCHES OF MAKING MODEL
14. Blade settings:-
1. Staggered set:- Alternate teeth or groups of teeth are staggered. This arrangement helps for free cutting, and provides for good chip clearance.

15. 2. Wave set:- In this, the teeth of the blade are arranged in a wave form. This type of setting is done blades of fine grade and super fine grade.
16.CONCLUSION
Student will understand Types , Material & uses of Hacksaw & Blade.
As a result of all our hard work, we made certain discoveries.
Regardless, we view our project as a success.
