3.ABOUT CEERI BACKGROUND Central Electronics Engineering Research Institute (CEERI), Pilani, is a pioneer research institute in the country and a constituent laboratory of council of scientific and industrial research (CSIR), New Delhi, established in 1953, for advance research and development (R&D) in the field of electronics.
4.HISTORY OF CEERI PILANI Central Electronics Engineering Research Institute, popularly known as CEERI, is a constituent establishment of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), New Delhi. The foundation stone of the institute was laid on 21st September , 1953 by the then Prime Minister Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru. The actual R&D work started towards the end of 1958. The Institute (CEERI) has since blossomed into a center of excellence for development of technology and for advanced research in electronics.
