2.International safety management code.
Tis is given by IMO
Tis ISM is made mandatory by the chapter ix in the SOLAS (1 July 1998).
Tis ISM came in to force on 1 july 2002. which is mandatory for the wider range of cargo ships and for mobile offshore drilling units

3.Tis is formed by the investigation tat orgins of 1980s
.ie accidents revealed major errors on the part of management and in 1987 the assembly addopted a committee maritime safety committee for the guidelines to the management
Tis ISM codes evolved through the development of the guidelines on the management for the safe operation of ships and for the pollution prevention adopted in 1989 by the assembly
4.And the revised guidelines came in 1991 to its current form for the safe operation of ship and pollution prevention

Tis applies to the regardless date of construction
Passenger , high speed craft not later than 1 July 1998

Tis chapter does not apply to the govt ship operated for non –commercial purposes.
10.SAFETY MANAGEMENT REQUIRMENTS
Company must follow these regulations so tis ISM is treated as mandatory
The ship must be operated by a company must hold a document of compliance to the regulation -4

11. CERTIFICATION
Documents of compliance is issued to each company wch will full fill the ism requirments
This is issued by the administration
A copy of tat certificate must be kept in ship so tat master can submit at the time of verfication
12.Safety management certificate shall be issued by the organization reconised by the adminstration
Also verify that the company and its shipboard is operated as per the guidelines issued in the ISM codes
